The new Surface Pro 8, which is even more capable, will start at $1,099. While it has shorter battery life, its Intel processor can natively run all Windows apps. Still, the Surface Pro X faces an uphill climb against the similarly priced Surface Pro 7, which can currently be found for $699 with comparable specs.
